However, any changes made after placing an order will not affect that order unless we are required to make the change by law.

ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE

Mainly, we want to draw your attention to our policies regarding the terms of purchase within the Terms and Conditions and in our Privacy Policy. If you are under the age of 16, you must inform your parent or guardian of Sofia Simões Jewellery's Privacy Policy before using this site or any of the services on this site. However, we reserve the right to only accept orders from over 18s.

When you want to buy a product, you must provide your personal data. ORDERS

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Sofia Simões Jewellery offers products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch in our warehouse. Occasionally, however, we may be awaiting shipments from our suppliers. Please note that items in your shopping cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.

ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER

Once you have made your choice and your order is placed, you will receive an email confirming your order details. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it. Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and conclusion of the contract between you and Sofia Simões Jewellery will be completed when we send you an email to confirm that the goods have been dispatched. The sales contract is therefore concluded in Lisbon, Portugal.

We reserve the right not to accept your order if, for example, we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, the item ordered is out of stock or does not meet our quality control. of standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out in the T&C.

We may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time in our sole discretion. PRICE POLICY

The prices shown on the website are in Euros and include VAT at the rate. Pricing in British Pounds and US Dollars is also shown, however prices will be in Euros when purchased.

All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The price in Euros of a product displayed on the website at the time of order acceptance will be honored, except in cases of patent error. Product prices are set at the start of each season using existing exchange rates. These prices are subject to change if the applicable exchange rate changes before your order is accepted or if items are subject to discounts at any time during the sale period.

SECURE

Sofia Simões Jewellery guarantees each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to the specified delivery address. We require a signature for all delivered products, when the responsibility for the purchased products passes to you. If you have specified a recipient other than you for delivery purposes (e.g. as a gift), then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by Sofia Simões Jewellery and transfer of responsibility in the same way.

DELIVERY

When we receive your order, we strive to deliver your package as quickly as possible.

Almost our creations are handmade by order. After the purchase has been made we ship within 3 weeks.

If the item you ordered is in stock, it will be shipped from our warehouse within 24 hours (on working days). If you live in Portugal, we strive to deliver your package within 1-2 business days. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and start from the date of shipment, Sofia Simões Jewellery is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes or problems with after-sales companies . When you place an order on the website, we will email you the tracking number on the day your package is shipped. You can check the status of your order using the tracking number. 

IMPORT AND CUSTOMS DUTIES

Any customs or import duties are charged once the package arrives in the destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the order (this also applies to retail and wholesale customers). Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot say what the cost will be as customs policies and import fees vary greatly from country to country. It may be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before ordering so you are not surprised by charges you did not expect.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear in the Sofia Simões Jewellery webshop and website. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that any color display on your monitor will be completely accurate.
